HOW TO HELP

Fund the step that unlocks the rest.

EqualFaith Europe’s legal work already exists. What it needs now is the legal standing to act on it at full strength — formal registration as a Dutch foundation. Every contribution, of any size, goes toward that first, concrete step.

€3,500Phase 1

The ask, plainly stated

Phase 1 covers formal incorporation, registration, and the infrastructure to operate transparently from day one. It’s deliberately small and specific, so support can be put to work in weeks, not months.

Where the money goes

The full Phase 1 budget, itemized — the same figures published on the Transparency page once funds start moving.

Budget line Amount Status
Legal incorporation (civil-law notary, statutes, deed) €800 Not yet spent
KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) registration fee €85 Not yet spent
Registered office / virtual office address, NL (first 3 months) €150 Not yet spent
Public transparency website (build, hosting, domain) €1,200 budgeted
ANBI application & basic bookkeeping setup €300 Not yet spent
Launch social-media campaign (creative, ads, promotion) €300 Not yet spent
Contingency €665 Reserved
The website was budgeted at €1,200 and was covered personally by the founder, not from donations — along with a further €48 for domain registration and professional email, also self-funded. See Transparency for the full breakdown. The €3,500 target itself hasn’t changed: the remaining budget lines above still need funding to complete registration.

If Phase 1 is fully funded, or exceeded

Phase 1 is capped at €3,500 by design — it’s only meant to cover registration and launch, not the full first year. If contributions exceed that amount, the surplus will be disclosed openly on the Transparency page and applied to Phase 2 core operating costs (translation, outreach, continued legal work) rather than held back or spent without explanation. Nothing above the stated budget lines gets spent quietly.

Ways to help, beyond funding

Give

Fund Phase 1

Any amount toward Phase 1 moves registration forward directly.

Introduce

Make a connection

Know a funder, foundation, or institution this might resonate with? An introduction is often worth more than a donation.

Endorse

Lend your name

A public statement of support, from an individual or organization, helps credibility with institutional funders who look for third-party validation.

FOR INSTITUTIONS

Embassies, foundations, and funds

Institutions that can’t use a public donation page can support Phase 1 directly as a grant or in-kind contribution — the same budget applies either way.

Every euro received and spent is itemized on our transparency page, published monthly from the first contribution onward.

This work has already been done for six months, unpaid and self-funded. Phase 1 is what lets it operate as the organization it’s already becoming.
